OLYMPUS CAR PARK PROJECT
Decorbuild have recently completed the Design and Construction of a Security Car Parking facility for Olympus UK Limited.
Designed to give their employees and visitors total, safe, secure parking.
Access was provided by means of ‘swipe card’ system and the car park is monitored by a serious of CCTV cameras, high level lighting, and giving 24 hour surveillance through our dedicated monitoring centre.
The works involved removal of approximately 2600 cubic metres of soil from a mound before reaching existing ground level. This required to be transported from site to a dedicated waste disposal site. Excavations and installation of new surface water drainage was completed and connected into the existing drainage system.
The introduction of paved walkways, block paving, high level lighting, CCTV cameras with security access and exits for both vehicles and pedestrians enables this facility to be totally secure and give employees peace of mind.
At the same time a new security system was introduced for the movement of vehicles when deliveries to their distribution centre occur.
The installation of a sliding security gate, monitored by a video camera link now enables all transportation to be carefully monitored on site.
Landscaping the newly flower beds with shrubs and the introduction of new corporate signage gave this project the finishing touches.
