Office partitioning
Soundlok is an industry standard and is one of the best selling partitioning systems in the U.K. Its performance and aesthetic qualities have made Soundlok an established specification product with architects and facilities managers alike.
- Provides up to Class O' spread of flame in accordance with BS 476: Part 7 on glazed elevations.
- Sound insulation to BS 5821 (150 - 3125 Hz) with Soundlok7 solid elevation providing up to 43dB (Rw).
- Sound insulation to BS5821 (150 - 3125 Hz) with Soundlok10 solid elevation (double boarded) providing up to 52dB (Rw).
- Sound insulation to BS5821 1150 - 3125 Hz) with Soundlok7&10 single glazed elevation providing up to 27dB (Rw).
- Sound insulation to BS5821 (150 - 3125 Hz) with Soundlok7&10 double glazed elevation providing up to 33 dB (Rw).
- Fire resistance to BS 476: Part 22 with Soundlok7 to 30 minutes on a solid elevation.
- Fire resistance to BS 476: Part 22 with Soundlok10 to 60 minutes plus on a solid elevation.

Steel stud and plasterboard construction, 77mm and 102mm nominal overall partition thickness.

Choice of square and radiused (Soundlokradius) 90 degree and 135 degree corner posts for Soundlok7 only.

Glazing options include single centre, single offset and double-glazed chair and bead in both plastic and aluminium.

Aluminium framework is available in satin anodised aluminium, or a choice from the BS and RAL ranges. It is also possible to match to existing colours provided that there is a sample.

Universal standard height square or radiused doorframes ensure that there is no need to state the handing.

Choice of fixing methods to solid elevations available to create different effects:
Taped and filled joints to create a monolithic finish. Cover trimmed joints in either plastic or aluminium trims with back fixes. Back board clips with a raked edged pre-vinyled plasterboard to create a feature 'pencil-line' or 'V joint. Top-Hat section with infill to create a demountable and relocateble system.

Visual privacy can be provided with either 15mm or 25mm Venetian blinds with integral controls. Or alternatively the use of acid etched glass or film-manifested glass can be used to create a particular message. i.e. Logo.

Pre-machine decorated panels can be obtained to provide an even speedier installation.
